S1E7: The “gully” cricketers

Cricket is a sport that connects many people in India. The same sport brought many friends and colleagues closer to each other back in 2017-18 in a faraway land of the Netherlands. The episode bought the same bunch of Indian mates together, recalling funny stories of yesteryears and sharing some moments of togetherness.

S1E6: Childhood Friendship

“Like branches of a tree our lives may grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one.” This is how childhood friendship is defined, something that always stays constant. Although Amrita and I were catching up with 16 long years, it took us just 16 seconds to bond. Episode 6 bought 4 friends, living in three different time zones, to come together and prepare different kinds of stuffed Indian bread (parathas), each having a story of nostalgia to share about it.

S1E5: Family away from home

Most of the relations in our lives are a mere accident. This beautiful accident made me find a family away from home in the form of Piotr, Gonnie aunty, Lea - David and Christa. With more than 4.5 hours of catch-up, the episode laid one more brick to the strong foundation of fondness and respect that we share with each other.

S1E4: Cultures of food

If there is one common thing that Italians, Indians, Persians, Spanish and Turks have in common, it is the love for food. The Episode was a great reunion of colleagues/friends (strangely none working in our past organisation) with “hope”and “love”during our 2 hours of bonding, while preparing our respective country delicacies.

S1E3: Unity in diversity

Six different people came together to cook the same Indian traditional dish ( Mung dal with Ajwain Indian Paratha), following an almost similar recipe and yet coming out with different end products in terms of taste, color, and consistency. The episode celebrated the diversity of humans while still being united by the thread of friendship.

S1E1: Wind Energy counterparts over a plate of Gobhi Aloo

Cauliflower florets (gobhi) and potatoes (aloo) is a very common Indian household dish, cooked with a flavorful blend of herbs and spices. Little did Magdalena and me knew that as business counterparts who only spoke about contracts and wind farm readiness would end up talking for three hours (while cooking and enjoying gobhi aloo) and discuss life, food interests, and hobbies of each other.

S1E0: The first steps of Togetherness

The journey started with having my closest friends cook together. I guess that is where comfort and lovelies the most. Two hours of fun had everything: IT problems, different cooking speeds, starving individuals; but most importantly we celebrated togetherness.
